Corporate Social Responsibility Update

20 December 2012 corporate-social-responsibility-news

Ropax remain committed to assisting community based projects in the South Lakes area.

Our CSR involvement with Cumbria Wildlife Trust continues to develop since our first meeting in September 2012. We are now administrators for Cumbria Wildlife Trusts social media activity on Facebook and Twitter, so watch out for future ‘Tweets’ and ‘Posts’. In addition to Ropax assisting with the delivery of the Ormsgill Wildlife Watch Group hosted at Ormsgill School, Barrow-in-Furness, we are looking at independent delivery of a second Watch Group for the Barrow area. The Watch Group programme encourages young children to learn about environment and ecology through fun, activity based sessions. Topics delivered so far include ‘The Sky at Night’, ‘Native Birds’ and ‘Nocturnal Animals’.
